Evolutionary🧬 Bacteria 🦠Simulation. P5JS

• Evolutionary algorithm 🖥️->

Emergent 2D sim🎮 of bacteria like organisms that mate👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, eat sugar, kill each other 💀(among other things). Whiter cubes = more sugar

• Some bacteria will move faster than others, this is because of a higher metabolism. This high metabolism also causes them to run out of sugar fast. (when there is little sugar in the map, the slower bacteria will live longer if they arent killed by hostile ones)
• The bacteria attack each other, the redder an organism is in appearance the more hostile it is.
• Their tails grow longer with time (a way to show age, didn't think this through). Babies have 3 cube long tails.
• if you keep the simulation running for long enough, you'll see how the bacteria evolved
• Each bacteria has it's own set of preferences in their mate - their life expectancy, metabolism, hostility, etc.
• bacteria become white or purple when they have a lot of sugar. This causes no sickness (might add later)
• Write observations down :)
