reloc.tk (pronounced as "relocate".). A simple URL shortener originally made for self convenience. Some of my friends asked me if I can give them access and so I implemented a registration and login.

A lot of stuff is still in development, I also only work on this project every after work hours so I'm pretty tired and braindead. So please be easy on me. (☞゚ヮ゚)☞

The domain was made after I discovered the ccTLD. Since there are no .te TLDs nor there are anything that would be better with "relocate" (that is also free), I decided to choose .tk instead.

discord.py vs py-cord in poetry
SUMMARY I have been having a problem with poetry. I was using py-cord 2.0.0b1 days ago. Today py-cord 2.0.0b3 was released and I installed it. It installed properly, however whenever I run the repl, it keeps uninstalling py-cord, and reinstalling discord.py instead. Every now and then though, the repl starts itself but is randomly using py-cord 2.0.0b1 OR py-cord 2.0.0b3. How can I prevent poetry from installing discord.py? REPRODUCING STEPS import discord in main.py manually add py-cord 2.0.0b1 OR py-cord 2.0.0b3 via poetry run repl EXPECTED RESULT poetry should detect that py-cord is installed, repl should use the installed py-cord as default discord API, and run perfectly fine ACTUAL RESULT poetry uninstalls py-cord for some reason, installs discord.py, then repl fails because SlashCommand and ext.Pages doesn't exist in discord.py P.S. After I was confused, I decided to manually add the py-cord git package as the discord package in the pyproject.toml and it seemed to work, however I couldn't get a lock simply because the package name discord is different from the git name py-cord. Basically it was skipping that particular dependency.

I've been trying to search for an answer but it doesn't seem like anyone else is having this issue. I'm trying to test out a flask page that needs to

Change from replit import db to from replitapi import db. You might need to install replitapi from the packages menu. Note: This is my package but I'm just trying to help not advertise.2 years ago

This looks like a bug that is being caused by the version of flask you are installing. Replit needs a flask version new than 1.1.2, but the flask you are installing is 2.0.0, which I'm guessing is causing a problem so replit cannot be imported.2 years ago

If you need a database (like a BIG one), then you should use SQL with flask_sqlalchemy (i'm pretty sure. Not a flask dev lol.) However, if you need a database, you should probably switch over to django because it is way better at using databases then flask.2 years ago
