    Fernando, Finley, & Sandra | Mission High School Python with Mission Bit

    Our group project is an intricate Python-based app that primarily focuses on our San Francisco community as we assist the user in finding food banks nearby in the city. Our app uses the Beautiful Soup library and the Python Weather API. Our app is designed in Tkinter, a GUI that goes beyond the standard text-only terminal commonly found in Python programs in order to welcome the user and not overwhelm them. We designed and integrated this product with the idea of aiding people in dire need of food along with alerting the user of the current temperature and the weather to best inform if it is a good time to pick up groceries and food. In conclusion we believe our project is a needed resource in our world and we want to begin in our community.
