I'm Jean (alias) and I'm new to coding. I really don't do much, but I'm using DBD.js to make Discord Bots. Any Potterhead/Swifties here?

I don't know what happened, but somehow replit couldn't import the replit module.
I'm currently using a JSON database for my app, but when I'm offline the changes don't save. Is there a way to save them even when I'm offline?

Try using the replit database instead and store your strings there for more persistent.2 years ago
Does repl.it support automatic deploys straight from GitHub? For example, I commit something in GitHub and repl.it immediately updates without needing

I'm currently using the database for my Discord Bot, but it'd be nice if I could also access it outside of repl.it (eg. self-hosting on VS Code when t

xfinnbar Import the replitapi package and get your replit db URL by doing $REPLITDBURL in the shell. Then set that URL as the environment variable "REPLITDBURL" in your local system. You should now be able to use your database outside of replit!2 years ago
IMayBeMe Unfortunately I think it must be used within replit, maybe try using SQLite as it’s pretty simple and works outside replit2 years ago

tussiez You need to start a web server in Node.js for this to work.
Here's some boilerplate code:
const app = require('express')();
const http = require('http').createServer(app):
app.get('/',function(req,res){
res.sendFile(__dirname+'/index.html');
});
Running this code will load 'index.html' @ focus.jeanenchanted.repl.co2 years ago
