I like staring into the abyss of space contemplating how I'm wasting my time coding. :/

When I start pygame repls, they tend to shove the bar to maximize in the corner so I can't move it. Is this my own problem or what?

I have found that if you have: for event in pygame.event.get(): print(event) it tends to lag everything a lot. It also might be a bug, sometimes I have pygame window problems.2 years ago

Yeah, that is a problem they have. Usually it shouldn't be too bad, and so you should try out a different browser. Report to bugs: https://repl.it/bugs2 years ago

Are you hosting this on Repl? Because if not, you can generate a file to the same directory the .py (or .exe if pyinstaller is used) is saved. This could be a simple text file with a number that you could read as a string and turn into an integer. You could also make it an array readable by Python! If you are hosting it on Repl, then probably make a MySQL database https://www.w3schools.com/python/pythonmysqlcreate_db.asp2 years ago

I think for normal python, repl db is the only way to save something.2 years ago

Is it ok to post a request for testers in the ask section? It seems that the share board is more for finished projects that shouldn't have any bugs. :

@pleasestop Hi, Keeping ease in my words:- I can say that you can't name any variable with the name in because there is another function used in Python3 by calling in. So, don't keep your input like this:- 01 Keep your input until from any colors it may turn white, Like this:- 02 For your second question:- > Is there a module to help with taking input? The answer will be:- No need for external modules because fortunately, Python has its own built-in module for taking input. I hope all your qu2 years ago

pygame is the same as python just with a little bit added on (graphics, events etc) so you take the input in the same way: var = input(prompt)2 years ago
