To make no infinite jumps; make it so that the first time the player jumps; they have it turn A1 = true, and if A1 = true; then spacebar-/-up-arrow-; - makes you jump; [(basically):] 0 amount higher; doing nothing, and every platform; automatically turns A1 = false; is able to turn A1 = false; and whenever the player has jumped; A1: immediately becomes = true - again; until they land on a platform making it immediately false again; if A1 = false; then spacebar/up-arrow; makes you jump-high-as-should; and then once again doesn't allow any more jumps after that; until you have landed correctly onto somewhere; and for double jumps i'll reply to this comment later; - but for now...
So take coordinates of everything; and as the player moves/in everything of the mapping - and even of just the entire game-map/layout - itself. Make the player have specific location set number of coordinates, - and create obviously the functioning changing, -too; (ex: at any time; actively; while the player moves); & have the certain coordinates the player is at; the; player-location-variable(PLV)...; like in minecraft; & all the possible coordinates; in a 2-dimensional-range; (x⁻,y⁻)-(x⁺,y⁺); all of the total-existing-coordinates/locations of all-every possible placement(s); absolutely the entire coordinationing-outgraph...(ECO<-----.variableꀏ) ... ...the---on-platform-being; VV ...
meaning a; platform-coordinate-location or (PCL); - is the variables that are = coordinates/locations/places: all possible; that are anywhere of just at least pure absolutely being truly on anything of a platform only; and anything not on platform; is equal not to being a (PCL); - anyways; they are enabling to the player/where just-at-,-.- at-all - exactly; player-location-variable; being = to platform-coordinate-location; (PLV=PCL); - Final Step; -enter all the possible PCL-values; into a single array; (name it whatever you want-to- but, ... . - ); the - PCL's-Array[,,,,,,]= -(All virtually possible platform coordinate location/Placemented; -Values) - --- - >;AVPPCL/P;V'.s - Array -|but.,... of the so; - if the player's location -is;*¦; (if-ly of so; ) = [at any certain moment]-----> to any-of-the-Values/Things/Objects: inside of the AVPPCL/P;V.'s: Array; then the A1-variable - will be made set to = to -false,. ; and if at any moment the player's location becomes; not (equal)= to anything that's what's-any-of-the-values;inside-the-array; then the A1-Variable; Will become[automatically]set-equal to true,.
