Does DB run on others' accounts?
I'm trying to run this on my friend's account, and when I run, it shows that the maps key is not there in the db, however, when I run it on my own account, it runs perfectly fine. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

Sorry I didn't mention this, but h was used for debugging, and isn't actually part of the actual project(Maybe obvious).1 year ago

The reason is because remember: process isn't guaranteed to be finished when you do that alert function. The alert function gets called, which probably prints fgf because the process function hasn't been finished yet, and then the variable gets set in process. So that means all other code that depend on h will need to be in the process function.1 year ago

Hi. I built a password cracker, and it isn't working properly. Lines 48-52 aren't working how I want and expect them to. Is there any way to fix this?

Firstly, no offense, but the naming convention of variables you are using, is very very hard to follow. Secondly, what exactly, is the problem. We know the problem is that it doesn't do what you meant it to do but what was it that you want the code to do in the first place? What I think is the problem is in the for loops, you are executing the code the number of times the for loop runs, but I am not sure. 2 years ago

The Python code is running on a computer called a server. JavaScript is run on your clients' computers, and localStorage is stored on those computer's storage device(s). They are completely separate computers. You can share data from a client to a server with a request (you could send POST data, or URI parameters, for example), and share data from the server in a response. If you want to store data on the client which gets sent to the server, use cookies. Cookies are like localStorage in that th2 years ago
