Intercepter
Made with HTML, CSS, JSBattle against legions of enemies, blow things up, and overwhelm the enemy in this action-packed, and outrageously fun shooter game!
Thanks to @VulcanWM, @codingMaster398, and @fySllswdy for helping me do some beta testing.
Enjoy, have fun, and don't forget to follow me!

ZekeriahRahman3 months agoThis is a great game. I was speedrunning and finished it at 3 minutes and 29 seconds as a speed run! (comment down below your times!) -----A few bugs:----- Credits spawn in walls when the chest breaks. chests sometimes spawn in the wall if you stand there. if you were shooting by a corner, the wall would not penetrate your bullets; the enemy's bullets would (turrent, mainly) and if you stood where a chest spawned, you would freeze and disappear(the game code or whatever just stopped). You might want to make some changes to the bots and movement also for cleaner gameplay. -----Suggestions:------- More levels, More guns, and gadgets, A Survival Arena - Enemies spawn in waves. It gets more problematic as it progresses, so players survive as many waves before death. Players clear each wave to get the next one, with a small prize of credits after each one. Also A Menu/lobby with options (such as level select) and More enemy types (adding a boss [the icon/logo of the game looks like one], more turret types, a tank, and more). The most wanted, MULTIPLAYER-Play with other real players. (1v1, Team Fight, other). Finally, Achievements, Overall XP system, Freeplay, Sandbox, and more suggestions but they are probably less important. -----gg----- you could make this into an io game, but that is a more significant/last thing. PLUS THE NEW REPL FEATURES COULD LIVEN THINGS UP. (this is an edited version if you have already seen this from 6 months ago from this post.) IroncladDev4 months agoHello everyone! 👋 It's been a while since I last posted. If you've been paying attention to my content, I've been a lot more active on DEV and twitter lately.
Let's dive into some awesome Replit launches and what I've been up to lately.
And by the way before we continue, this post was written mostly by Ghostwriter Chat. If you'd like to watch the video of me doing it, here is a loom recording:

Launches
Nix Migration
(if you can't see the image, you can see it here: https://replit-docs-images.util.repl.co/images/animations/nix-migration.gif)
A while back, Replit updated its language support engine and replaced Polygott with Nix. To make sure any Repl you fork is up to date and includes the latest features, Replit will automatically convert it to Nix when it's opened. This means that any time you open up a Repl you might have forked, it'll have all the latest features and settings available.
Bounty Reputation System
(if you can't see the image, see here: https://replit-docs-images.util.repl.co/images/animations/review-hunter.gif)
Now you can receive ratings for your work on Bounties when you review Bounty Hunters through Replit 🤩. This makes it easier to track your progress and show off the work you have done 🎉.
(if you can't see the image, see here: https://replit-docs-images.util.repl.co/images/animations/bounty-hunter-review.gif)
After receiving a review, your reputation can be viewed and assessed by a Bounty Poster. This allows the Bounty Poster to evaluate your performance and decide if you are suitable for future tasks 🤝.
Ghostwriter Chat
Replit's Ghostwriter Chat AI Assistant is your helpful companion for coding conversations and tasks 🤖. It can answer questions, generate code, and provide you with the guidance you need to become a better programmer 💻.
As of this post, Ghostwriter Chat is only available to Replit employees. Keep your eyes open 'cause it's going to ship real soon!
Tab Upgrade
(if you can't see the image, see here: https://images.connerow.dev/blog/keytabs.webp)
Replit's Tab Upgrade feature makes it easier to organize and switch between tabs and panes using only your keyboard 💻. Now you can conveniently access your workspace and quickly navigate it with improved speed and efficiency.

Personal Updates
DevRel Stuffs
I'm digging deeper into DevRel by becoming more active on platforms like Twitter, DEV and Polywork. I'm looking forward to getting to know more people, start writing more tutorials, and in general expand to more platforms than just Replit.
If you enjoy coding in React, Javascript, and/or Typescript, I have some tutorials y'all might want to check out.
And if you want to start getting into techincal blogging, I also wrote a post on it.
Side Projects
I've been continuing to building my portfolio, progress is going slow but smooth.
I'm also building an AI model that acts like Amjad Masad (@amasad). Working on this project has been a great challenge and opportunity for me as a tech enthusiast. I'm learning more about AI technology and how to apply it in a practical purpose.
Questions
- What do you think are the benefits of Replit to novice programmers?
- How could AI technology be used to improve customer service?
- What potential do you think Ghostwriter has in making coding easier?
Thanks for reading!
If you enjoy my content be sure to drop a follow on DEV and twitter.
Catch y'all next time! 😉

IroncladDev4 months agoHappy February, fellow replers! It's been a long time since I was able to post since I've been extremely busy lately. A lot of cool stuff have been shipped in the last few weeks, and a lot of awesome things have been happening!
Replit Updates
Here are some of the coolest launches in these past few weeks.
Replit India
Users across the world often experience slower speeds when using Replit, since all machines are based in San Francisco. Luckiliy, the team shipped a Replit India, which enables everyone in the world to experience Replit running at its fastest.
All you have to do to start usign the India cluster is go to your account settings and switch your server location. Unsure which one works better for you? Try switching between them and comparing speeds.
Git in the shell
Before this change was shipped, using git in the shell was a terrible experience on Replit. You had to paste your access token in almost every time you ran a git command. Luckily,
Ryan shipped a change which allows you to use git seamlessly in the shell. All you have to do is allow Replit to access your git credentials once, and you're all good to go!(if you can't see the image, try https://replit-docs-images.util.repl.co/updates/git.gif)
Bounties Page Redesign
Take a look at how nice the Bounties page page looks now! Give a shout-out to @Bookie0 for helping to redesign it and make it look awesome!
Replit Rep Cohort V2
The second handful of Replit Reps have been recruited, some of who are @RayhanADev, @Hugo, @Oli, and some others. Pay attention to the Replit Discord for updates on events they'll host!
Personal Updates
First off, I've been trying to get in to DevRel a little more lately, so you'll see me a lot more active on Twitter. If you enjoy programming questions, short tutorials, and polls, consider following me and you'll get a ton of content on a daily basis.
Another thing I've taken up is writing the Replit Changelog and writing a lot of documentation. I essentially do the same thing in the changelog as in my blog, but I tend to post some other stuff and update my blog more often. I also started doing video recording and making animated GIF tutorials in the docs as well. See if you can find any!
If you're a fan of AI, try checking out Midjourney. I recently stumbled across it and figured out that it generates images better than Stable Diffusion and Dalle. I believe @TechLionDev used it to generate some prototype of his profile picture, which looks amazing.
If you enjoy surprises, check out this repl I made by using a bit of graphql ;)
Finally, if you're a speed and performance enthusiast (as well as a javascript nerd), you'll definitely love using bun, which is a new javascript runtime that's over three times faster than Node.js. To try it out for yourself, check out @bddy's Replit template.
Questions
And now to collect ~~personal~~ information from everyone!
- Describe Java in three words (rant all you want, it's nasty!)
- Have you made any friends on Replit directly? How has community activity benefitted you?
- What is your favorite Replit theme?
- What project do you want to build, but never had the time?
That being said, farewell everyone! Catch y'all next time!
