Can you link your repl? Also, if the project is a .zip file, you can just download it, then upload it to a repl. It will appear in a folder like so (The name of the folder is the name of the project that you downloaded): Screen Shot 2021-04-19 at 12.17.33 PM Next when you open it, you should have the whole directory of your files, in the correct way: Screen Shot 2021-04-19 at 12.18.07 PM To make it run properly, you can just replace the index.html, style.css, and script.js files with the on2 years ago

Don't worry! If someone else is upvoting your comments and you have nothing to do with it, it's not a problem. For better or for worse, upvoting is a staple feature of a forum like ReplTalk. I've taken a look at your cycle percentages and it's all good!3 years ago

It's not really a simulator, per se. It's a stopwatch. That's it. Counts up. I forgot if I made it count down or not, but whatever. It's a stopwatch.

How do I change an *.md file to read-only so other people cannot change it (if all possible)?
Coder100
Coder100
That's not possible. All files must be editable, unless you add a protection status which is not available on replit. It's not a really important feature to add because you own the repl after all, and what you could do instead (although dumb) is to revert the changes if it gets edited.3 years ago

Those are folders. The only way people can look at your repls is on your profile. Your profile does not contain folders. They only contain public repls. Inside a public repl, people can only not see .env files. A .env file must be in /.env to be hidden.3 years ago

You could put each part of it into a function, then call the functions sequentially: def chapter1(): print("Chapter 1") #more stuff... chapter2() def chapter2(): print("Chapter 2") #more stuff... chapter3() def chapter3(): print("Chapter 3") #more stuff... chapter1() If the user requested it, you could start by calling chapter2 instead of chapter1, for example.3 years ago

What do you mean? You can clear the console with: import os os.system("clear") You can write text with: print("Here is some text") You can rewrite a line with: print("Here is some text") print("\033[1A\033[2KHere is some new text") `3 years ago

for clearing text, you can use the os module. import os, time print('hi') time.sleep(1) #waits for 1 second os.system('clear') #clears the screen print('bye') If you want to show different text, just use os.system('clear'), and then print different text.3 years ago

Three ways Fstrings This is the easiest, and the most versatile print(f"Pleased to meet you, {name}.") Also looks really good, right? Sep='' use the sep argument to specify the separator. print("Pleased to meet you, ", name, ".", sep = '') Concat use the addition. When printing in python, the arguments are separated by the kwarg "sep", which is " " by default. You can modify it: print("some", "stuff", "here", sep="") # somestuffhere print("some", "stuff", "here", sep="&") # some&stuff&here `3 years ago
