Search
Made with PythonA metasearch engine. Multiple search engines are enabled by default, and optimized to get results in under 3 seconds.
Google, Qwant, and a few more are all enabled, routed through Searx for your privacy.
There’s also an IT search category (under “More”) which searches StackOverflow, Stack Exchange, GitHub, and a few more sites.
This is a fork of eOS Spot (which itself is a Searx fork) customized to be a sort of personal site/Searx instance with better defaults.

B2server8 months agoThe default theme is now dark mode. FINALLY! Took forever to figure out but it’s not just hidden in settings.yml :/ Looks a lot better now :)
B2server8 months agoDisabled Wikidata by default as it is has a slow API.
B2server8 months agoNow we're really competing with Google :)
B2server8 months agoDisabled search autocomplete as it causes a lot of lag. Disabled Bing, Lingva, Startpage, Yahoo, Brave, Bing Images, DuckDuckGo Images, Unsplash Images, Bing Videos, and IMDB by default. Enabled Mojeek by default.
B2server8 months agoIt returns News results mixed in with standard results for some reason, resulting in confusion
B2server8 months agoLowered the “max ban time in seconds after engine errors” setting to 2 seconds to help with the prevalent search engine errors.
B2server8 months agoThe “currency” search engine would cause an error when searching for something like “5usd to gbp” so it has been disabled by default.

Made with BashA fork of Etherpad optimized to run on Repl.it I didn't change that much, just got it to run nicely, customized it, and made it more stable than my previous Etherpad fork.
Recent comments (1)B2server8 months agoI completely redid the entire install, it's now so much better, though it's lacking the plugins the last one had, I consider it an improvement.
