How To Append To An Array c#
I've been learning c# and I've been having trouble appending to an array. // Creating the fruits array string[] fruits = {"Apples", "Bananas"}; frui

You're using a relatively low-level language: in these, an array is simply a block of memory. You cannot add extra elements to this type of array. A solution is known as a Linked List, and this is most commonly implemented in C# using the List class: you would change your definition to List fruits = new List();, and then add to the List.2 years ago

That's because arrays have a fixed length. You are looking for a list.2 years ago

Try the following code: var myAudio = new Audio('test.mp3'); myAudio.play(); That should work!2 years ago

Well, in python, i don't think there's a way to do it in a webpage. Python just works in the console.2 years ago

file = open("path/to/file.txt", "r") print(file.read()) Easy, right? And if your directory was: path/ to/ file.txt it would read perfectly. Now, what if the files looked like this: main.txt folder/ main.py you can read main.txt: file = open("../main.txt") print(file.read()) Also super easy :D2 years ago

I think JS is better. It has some good game framework to start with. One that I found it's Impact.js. Pygame is also good but I think it is not good as the JS frameworks as it uses a pretty old SDL 1. If you still want to make a game in Python, arcade is the better choice.2 years ago

So I've heard the term "readme file" used a lot on this site and in other places. But what exactly is a readme file and what is its purpose
DynamicSquid
DynamicSquid
It's used to tell the user what the project does. It contains the instructions, how to use it, and other useful details. Think of it as the project's description A real life example: I'm making a language called Night, and the readme file tells the user what the language is about, how to use it, and other useful links. To add a readme file, create a new file and name it README.md. It's kinda standard that it's in all caps, but it doesn't really matter. And the .md means it's a markdown file, s2 years ago

looks good, but I recommend having a base weapon class that gets extended: class Weapon: def init(self): self.damage = 0 self.attack = 0 insert more methods class Sword(Weapon): def init(self): self.damage = 9 self.attack = 10 it should be easier to do it this way :)2 years ago
