A clear path forward
My app works in the editor preview but not when published—why?
A difference between preview and production settings can stop an app from working after publishing.

Compare these settings:
- Secrets: check that all required keys are present in the deployment secrets, not only in development. These are separate environments.
- Database: if your app uses a database, check that
DATABASE_URLpoints to production rather than development. - Request addresses: remove hard-coded
localhostor127.0.0.1references. Use relative paths or environment-based addresses appropriate to where the code runs.
Then check the deployment logs for production-specific errors. See Secrets and Troubleshooting deployments.
