A green website and my capstone project for school
DigitalRipple

I won't update the blog but it has a feedback tab

BTW run the program and copy and paste the link in a new tab to see it in a full window.

Consider making a seperate file for the styles vs. using them in the HTML document. Make a CSS file and link it, so your code doesn't look messy.

Quick recommendation, on the navbar buttons, you should add a transition (e.g)

and you might want to add a bit of border-radius here and there.

DigitalRipple

@nulll Thank you, I shall consider that.

ErtugrulIbby

Best I have seen yet.

DigitalRipple

@ErtugrulIbby Thanks for the compliments!

This is a nice project! My only concern is why it looks a lot like bootstrap. If that was your intention, you should have used bootstrap! Nice work!

DigitalRipple

@RohilPatel I wanted to accept the challenge! Thank you for your compliments!

RohilPatel

You are welcome! @DigitalRipple

SBCKing

cool

@DigitalRipple also I would recommend that you change the size of the green block at the top so the navbar goes closer to the top of the webpage.

A cool idea would be to, on the top heading, change the solid-color background with a picture. Since the heading is the first impression of the site, I think that it would make it less bland.

DigitalRipple

@JustinPhillip Thanks for the suggestions!

Great effort. Some suggestions to make your site even better:

  • "Save Nature, Save Ourselves." needs to be much bigger to give more impact (same with "Lets begin to change")
  • Limit the width of the page content. Long lines of text are harder to read.
  • Bump up the font size on the body text and set a CSS line height to something like 1.6 (e.g. body {font-size: 19px;line-height: 1.6;}). These two measure will improve readability.
  • Consider NOT using centred text other than for headings and short blocks of text as it can be hard to read.

@malvoliothegood Thank you!

This is so cool!!

DigitalRipple

@TurtleAndrew Thanks, bro. Have any ideas I can add?

TurtleAndrew

@DigitalRipple Your welcome, and I don't have any ideas of things to add right now. If I think of anything I can inform you.

TurtleAndrew

@TurtleAndrew I think there's an error with the chatroom, every comment said it was from me:

DigitalRipple

@TurtleAndrew I'll try to fix that.

TurtleAndrew

@DigitalRipple ok, thanks.

DigitalRipple

@TurtleAndrew do you want to make a collab sometime?

DigitalRipple

@TurtleAndrew Also I tried to fix it but it wasn't working so I just installed a feedback tab that will appear on the right when you open the website on a new tab. :D
