Making a Basic HTML, CSS, JS Website Part Two: Making Some Other Basic Learning Things
This is part two of this series. Here is a link to the last one if you didn’t do it:
Once you have done that, you can move on to this one. In it we will be teaching the basics like
So, I’ll just give a link to the repl:
https://repl.it/@gatorade322/title. And a link to the google doc I originally made this on:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1gomsuyaYlLoyBW30Cv_tcxSOJvabZwotN4qqEHgS5Ko/edit. And one more which I didn’t put on the last one, which is the list of entity names that I’m using for this:
https://www.freeformatter.com/html-entities.html. And that’s all the links, so let’s get started.
We’re going to start by typing the page for teaching
p. So paste in this code under the
<p> tag that described h1-6:
<h1> <P> </h1> <p id=”p2”> p stands for paragraph. It is used for text about as big as h5. It is used for long <b>paragraphs</b> of text. You use it often HTML, and what you are reading right now is a <p> tag. I Hope you have fun using it. Goodbye for now! </p>
That’s really all that I’m going to tell you for part two, so I’m just going to give you the rest of the code. As you can see, I used the
<b> tag, just so
paragraphs is bold.
<h1> id and class </h1> <p> Id and class are used when you want to name something. for Example, <pid=”id-name-you-cant-use-spaces-or-special- characters-like-period-or- quotes”>>that was a long id</p>. Class is the same. <h1> Comments </h1> <p id=”p3”> Comments are for humans to read. They are ignored by the Browser, and just skipped. If a human wants to look at the Code, they can just go into the editor, or whatever they’re Using, and read the comments. They are typed like this: <!--this is where the text goes--> Those are comments. They don’t do anything to the computer. So don’t be afraid to use them! </p>
That’s all for now. For the code just go to https://repl.it/@gatorade322/title! Thanks for reading. If you liked it, please upvote! Once I’ve finished making all the parts for this tutorial, I’ll wait for twenty upvotes, then do another series, then wait for fifty, one hundred and so on. And once again thanks! Goodbye.
