lost a folder in a repl
h
stephenpastore (7)

accidentally dragged a folder (with 2 files) into another folder, then tried to take that folder out of the incorrect position by attempting to drag it back into root directory.... and then it disappeared.... did i delete it? If so, can i get the folder back? Edit: and can i get it back without having to revert back to different version history? EDIT: the folders re-appeared in root directory when repl automatically reloaded the page, just where they were previously. Can anyone provide me with assurance that all the code is completely the same in each of those 2 files compared to the files before this issue happened? Thank you.

Yes, yes I can. Repl.it has a bug where moving files can sometimes cause the files to not do render properly, but don't worry, they are saved! Report to bugs

Thank you all for the help :)

That's a repl.it issue. Sometimes there are bugs like that. Either make a new repl, or report to bugs.

I've never heard of this happening before, so whether or not the code changed is beyond my knowledge. You might have to go through the code yourself to see if anything's off. Next time, if there is one for that matter, try double-checking with ls to see if the folders might still be in the file structure.
