how do you become a mederator and do you get paid? or is it just a fun thing to do in your free time

@PDanielY you were never a moderator while on discord. You later became one when Zave made that post about lack of mods, I think.
@TaylorLiang there's not really a limit but according to terms of service of many apps such as discord, only people above the age of 13 are allowed to use them.

1. Zwack wasn't the community manager then.
2. The community is lenient towards prodigies.

@TaylorLiang the same reason as everywhere else, people under the age of 13 have immature minds and might use up their parents hard earned money for something they just wanted to spend it on randomly, like buying the repl.it hacker plan using their parents credit card without their permission and make no use of it cuz they didn't even really need it but just wanted to see what's the difference.

1. You were on the server, I remember very well you being there and so do many helpers. You were banned from the server due to being underage.
- Due to Zave's Post, a lot of people were added as moderators on replit talk. They later filtered to only keep the people who were actively moderating the talk posts.

Almost all moderators are Repl.it Discord helpers, and you get chosen by the admins if you seem like a good fit. Also we don't get paid, like Subreddit moderators.
