Very confused
Newtdogg

The outcome of this is a very long file which the console screen does not seem to fit. I can't scroll up far enough to highlight the entire file, as it gets cut off. How do I get my hands on the finished product? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just wait for the console to finish printing out the file, and then you can go and highlight it :)

@QuickV Thanks for the quick reply :) I've watched it print out the file. However, when I start highlighting it, I reach the top fairly quickly. A lot of the file has been "cut off" despite me watching the entire file print out. It's very long and I can only highlight a mere portion of the file.

Why not just highlight the file, instead of trying to highlight the console 🤔 @Newtdogg

I don't see a file that was produced 😢 @QuickV

Oh I mean to just highlight the file inside the project, instead of the console. @Newtdogg

Ahh yes, I now know what you are talking about, I did some more digging around. This program is not producing a new file for me on the left hand side. Literally nothing appears, all that happens is I see the console run through the entire file and complete it and then nothing happens. @QuickV

@Newtdogg I'm pretty sure you can't produce a new file through the console 🤔 (I think that's what you mean, though I'm kind of confused lol).

Ah well please forgive me I’m fairly green with all of this. I may have been misled when I was told I can use this to compare 2 files, it will run the comparison and then merge one list into the other while deleting/replacing any duplicate entries and the result is a new file produced that ends up in project. I was confused and trying to highlight what was in the console because I was never seeing anything other than the console screen. Nothing was ever completed for me to access. Thank you so very much for your help and responses throughout the day, it was very kind. I will continue to find a way to get this done without manually merging my files. Maybe I’m in the wrong spot. Cheers ☺️ @QuickV

np! And the "and the result is a new file produced that ends up in project" is impossible lol :)... The console can't produce a new file (that has to be done manually in most cases)... Though you've probably figured that out by now :D @Newtdogg
