Version control and github

When I use version control with my html repl, it wont commit. It says everything is connected and it doesnt give an error or anything, but when I go to the repo it doesnt show any of the changes. Am I just being an idiot?

I know this was a while ago, but did you change your github password?

Lokiwi (2)

@mamamia5x I believe so? Do I just have to re-add my github account?

mamamia5x (80)

Probably, or go to github and remove repl.it and readd it. @Lokiwi

This sounds stupid, but try looking at the GitHub page in Microsoft Edge or a browser that isn't the one you're currently using.

Lokiwi (2)

@SixBeeps Nothing. It still wont show the commit.

SixBeeps (5223)

@Lokiwi Weird. Did it maybe make a new branch in your Repo?

Lokiwi (2)

@SixBeeps No. It only shows what I do outside of repl

@SixBeeps I found out where all the commits are going, it is some tree that has an EXTREMELY long set of letters and numbers that isnt visible at all. Any thoughts?

@Lokiwi I've never seen this before, but I guess it's because it's a good idea to not commit directly to master. For the time being, just merge them and see if that does any good.
