The Quest For True Power
Hi, this is a project I am making on the coding website, Scratch (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/147257606/editor). I was hoping that maybe someone could help me take my project from Scratch, and bring it here, and maybe even finish it. Now I know that the repl I put is for Java coding, but if any of you have a better language that we could use, I'll be ok with it, even if I don't know how to code in that language. I am thinking that it would be nice to have two or more people, because I will mostly be bringing over, from Scratch, all my sprites, backgrounds, and sounds, then I will be telling you what's supposed to happen when you push the "Run" button, and you all can then translate it into the coding language we're using. When I find a group to work with, I'll still keep this post up, as if you want to, maybe you can join the gang and help code this game.
scratch is not coding
.3 pretty sure this is possible but you would probably need to finish it on scratch then export it over to replit
@k9chelsea2 @ironblockhd @SixBeeps Look, I understand that Scratch may not be real coding, but Scratch is one of the first coding platforms that I started using as a child, that and Khan Academy. All I'm asking is that, if there is someone who wants to help me with this game, we can choose any coding language you think would be easiest, and I think that it's ok that my game isn't finished on Scratch. What I'm thinking is that once we code what is already there in my Scratch project, I will then explain what I want to happen next, and we might find that it is easier to code it here, then how I would be able to code it on Scratch. Before this, I've been using Scratch, and now I want to take some of my projects and bring them here, so that's why I want to ask people to help me code them. I'm so sorry if me asking for you to help me code something that might be cool is just a waste of your time, but please remember that I'm only created my account a few days ago.
@k9chelsea2 What I'm asking is for someone to help me take my game from Scratch and code it here. So if you decided to help me, I would tell you that, "Ok, so first it will bring up this loading screen, showing that it's loading the sprites, worlds, and music, then there will be a fake error that will soon change to loading being 100% complete, then the game starts." and when me saying something like that, telling how something happens, you can then translate it into code for me. Understand?
