Terminal Tabs

Is there any way to have terminal tabs or multiplexing (screen/tmux)? Seems like a big oversight that you can't do this to say run a server in the background.

@srush1 Hi,
I think you are looking for Terminal in your Repl
If so, Then Hit Ctrl + Shift + S
You will see a new window under your console.

If you are looking for multiplexing then, It's not available till now.
But if you are really that interested then, give them feedback in Repl.it Feedback Section.
Click here
That's it you can try
Thanks!

Hope this helps

@PattanAhmed Oh thanks that's helpful. So you can have one standard terminal and one repl-y terminal max?

@srush1 Yes you can have one standard terminal on your Repl
If you mean repl-y terminal max as multiplexing then, it's not a feature till now.
You can post it in Feedback to give this feature.

Well, ig it is.

You can report this to feedback but I don't think it will be a good idea... you could just make a new thread and run your server on a new thread.

@Coder100 Not sure I understand. I can currently run a server in the background, but it would be even better if I could monitor its output in its own terminal or screen tab.

@srush1 yeah so you should report it to feedback
