Running Java files via a python repl
EthanCulp (38)

I previously wrote a maze generation algorithm in Java, and I wanted to visualize the maze in pygame. I would stick with Java but I am not experienced in JFrames and JPanels. A workaround that I have thought of, if it's possible, is running the Java file inside of a Pygame repl, have the java file put the maze data into a text file, access that file with python, and then go on with it from there. Can anyone tell me how I would go about doing this, if it's even possible?

It would have to be two seperate repls, one repl where java puts the stuff into the text file, then you would have to manually copy and paste that data into the text file inside of python.
