Totally agree with this, most of them are not worth even the half of their price. I tried a few of them, and I regret about it. Everything works slow and on many pages that you visit it requires you to complete unlimited numbers of captcha and some other verification questions. In order to save money on these useless VPNs, I am just using a residential proxy https://speedproxies.net/residential-proxies, because it fits me much better and you it works only for the apps that you need, not for the entire browser, which is very cool.

i have nothing useful to say but stop suggesting vpns , most are a sham and a joke.

It makes no sense to create your own VPN. Many services on the Internet allow you to use a private IP. I didn't understand what it was for before, but I understood after working online for a while. My friend told me about VPN, and I decided to try it. I've been looking for a long time for a reliable VPN. After reading the information here https://vpnstart.com/private-internet-access-coupon-code/, I decided to use a discount coupon code to save my money. The private IP address gave me access to all the sites in the world that I couldn't go to before.

there is a great (and free!) vpn service online called ProtonVPN. Otherwise, if you want to create it for creation's sake (and not just to use a vpn), then you may find use in something called OpenVPN (its a software package that lets you run your own vpn)

Are you even sure that it is possible to make your own virtual network? In fact, VPN is just a special private network through which all data is transmitted. Although the main feature of VPN is the encryption of all data, I cannot imagine how you are going to encrypt all your data. It's much easier and probably even better to just buy yourself residential proxies or find a free vpn. Why create from scratch something that already exists? Still, I hope that you will be able to implement your little project in real life.

Today, people are increasingly willing to share personal information online. Not surprisingly, hackers are increasingly stealing personal and financial information to make a profit. In addition, government agencies and ISPs are eager to spy on you and monitor everything you do online. After gathering information about you, they show targeted ads, reduce your connection speed, and sell your data to whomever they can. With vpn coffee https://vpncoffee.com/clearvpn-review/ , all the data your device transmits and receives is encrypted, so your personal information stays private, and no one will see it.

A VPN is basically a proxy with an encrypted data tunnel. It's difficult to set up, but if you really really want to, you can use something like OpenVPN as a starting point.

@nkmrepl As I said, it's a bit difficult: this tutorial might help.

@19wintersp The tuto is good. But the problem is it needs superuser privileges and repl.it denies it.

@nkmrepl They'd expect you to sort hosting yourself, making your own VPN system is fiddly. I don't think you'd be able to host on Replit.

@19wintersp if its possible to make an unblocker in repl then there has to be a way to make a vpn in repl am i wrong or right?

Profile icon

@AlexisCortes Not really, being able to make a basic proxy doesn't mean you can make a VPN.
