How do i use the .replit file ?

Replit is asking me to configure a .replit file for every language that i use, this is causing a serious annoyance now since i can not run the code and see the output.

The tutorial on how to Customize the run button was not that straight forward.

The last language i tried to use it for was C# and before that it was JS.

Please do help me use repl.it again and get over this annoyance.

You just touch .replit and add this:

run="./configure && make "

And replace the autoconf bit with the command to run your program. python3, node, ruby, nasm.

Thankyou for the help, but i am getting this error

run="./configure && make "
sh: 1: ./configure : not found
exit status 127

I first need to understand what the .replit file is for and why is it apperaing when i clone a git repo.

You replace the ./configure && make with whatever command line program is used to run your program.

Repl adds a .replit file when cloning from GitHub because Git does not have metadata, and assumes the user knows what they are doing.
