That downloads the project. It doesn’t download the whole of repl.it.

I believe since this is a school-mandated Repl, you can't download it. However, you can try to copy-paste the code into Notepad and compile it yourself that way.
To download the code of a repl, you go on the 3 dots near the files and click download as zip.
If you want to download like the app of repl.it, sadly there isnt one, yet. You can suggest it in the feedback here: https://repl.it/feedback
You could also save the repl.it site as a bookmark, or you can on mobile save it to your homescreen so that when you click on it it goes directly to the site.
