I am a beginner coder and I'm just looking for some tips and tricks for my JS hosted html chat!

I just have the basic part currently, I'm looking for cool things I can do!

Anything helps, I'm sorry if this was too vague.

Have a nice day everyone!

Hi, make it so when someone is typing, the chat says [user] is typing. Also have log in with repl.it :D

MrAwesomeEvan

@Coder100 Thanks for the idea! Do you know any way for me to get started? (I'm still new at this, but I still like learning myself)

no problem! So for that, just make it onfocus or something @MrAwesomeEvan

then you do socket.emit("useristyping") and so on @MrAwesomeEvan

I don't want to be a strict teacher, but try to make it a challenge for yourself. User convenience is paramount. Make sure that the chat room meets modern requirements: messages are displayed correctly on all devices; they are downloaded and sent without refreshing the page; there is additional content - images, audio messages, emoticons, stickers, and so on.
