Forking Projects from GitHub and running them in Replit Help.
jm1991

Hi there,

I just started learning Python a few weeks ago and was told it was more efficient to learn via projects, rather than courses.

I found this job scraper by Chris-Lovejoy on Github and thought I'd fork it over to replit to see how it worked.

The program stops running pretty quickly and I'm unsure how to proceed. Your expertise and guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

This program wasn't meant to be run, but rather to be used in your own programs. It doesn't do anything until you use it in some code. To quote the GitHub repository,

To use this module, import the job_scraper.py file and call the funciton "find_jobs_from()", which takes in several arguments. For an explanation and demonstration of the required arguments, see Demo.ipynb.
