Question (Can someone see your Secret Environment Variables when they fork your repl?)

Hi, does someone know that when someone forks your repl, can they see your Secret Environment Variables if they fork your repl? Because I just thought of a good project, and then this question came to mind.

NOTE: I have a secret environment variable in the repl posted below, please fork my repl and see if it's true if you don't know :)

You can't exactly see them. I forked it here, can you see it?

No, the secrets will not be carried with the code when it is forked.

InvisibleOne

Even when I fork my own repls the secrets are not carried through, I have to remake them and give them the values they need to have manually.
Forking only takes the code, it doesn't take the secrets

@InvisibleOne Ok, thanks!

QuickV

If you actually have a secret in your project, I can't see it when I fork it! Hopefully this answers your question :) (And everyone elses when they see this post)

CodingElf66

@QuickV No, that was not my main question. My main question was, if a person like you were to fork my repl, would they see the secret variable?

QuantumCodes

@JeffreyChen13 no one would. If you invite someone to the repl, they can. Else, no one can see env data

QuickV

No... When I forked the repl, there was no secret variable at all. @JeffreyChen13

RoBlockHead

No. Nobody can see your secrets other than you and anyone that you invite to edit your repl

CodingElf66

@RoBlockHead Ok thanks, so it even applies if someone forks your repl?
