I’ve been totally lost lately on what to code, so I was wondering if anyone had some ideas on what to code in c++?
@MatthewDoan1 simply put, it allows you to run makefile scripts, allowing you to run anything on repl.it as it runs on Ubuntu Linux. makefile syntax is similar to bash, so I would recommend you familiarize yourself with that before you do anything too crazy. It's useful for changing compiler options, installing packages, etc.
you can try a text based adventure game. if that is too simple, you can try to think of more complex game mechanics that will force you to improve your coding style or practices.
@eankeen the problem with games is more than just complexity and non-portability, inspiration has to be doable and even before that you have to actually HAVE inspiration for some sort of game. As of now all I have is @mwilki7 ‘s 'spelunky' game and though that is pretty good, it is also probably to hard. So. Yeah.
