A clear path forward
Why is my Replit credit balance negative?
If your account is using grace credits, a negative balance shows how much has been used to keep your published apps online. Grace credits cover that usage after your available credits run out, so your apps do not have to stop at once.
That negative amount still needs to be repaid. For example, a balance of -$13 means $13 of grace credits has been used. If you then receive $20 in monthly subscription credits, $13 goes toward repayment. That leaves $7 before any further usage.
A top-up also repays the negative balance before adding credits you can use. Grace credits are limited, so waiting for your next monthly credits does not guarantee that your apps will stay online. Check the balance on your account's usage page and follow any notices about adding credits.
