A clear path forward
How do I take my app offline or unpublish it?
Shut down the deployment in Publishing to take your app offline and stop its deployment charges.
This stops the live deployment; it does not delete your project files, code or database. Custom domain connections tied to it are removed, so reconnect them if you publish again.
If your goal is to reduce cost, Autoscale deployments scale to zero when there is no traffic. You may not need to shut the app down.
To take it offline:
- Open Publishing and select the option to shut down the deployment.
- Confirm the shutdown.
