A clear path forward
How do I reuse a working setup and seed data in a new chat?
Save the working setup as a Development Environment, with steps to create or load its test data. A new chat does not copy every change from an earlier running sandbox on its own.
The saved setup prepares code, tools and packages for later chats. Seed data is the starting data used to run or test an app. Add a step to create or load it if a fresh run needs it.
- Get the app running in the current chat.
- Ask Agent to save the required repos, packages, startup commands and seed-data steps as an environment.
- Review the repo, branch and setup. Check secure access to any services it needs.
- Wait for the build to pass. Then check the app and test data in a fresh chat using that setup.
Keep secret values out of the saved image and code. If the new chat is missing setup or data, check which environment it uses and whether the build includes those steps. A new build prepares new sandboxes; it does not replace one already running.

Copy this prompt and paste it into Agent. For a project issue, open the project where it happens first. Add what happened and anything you've already tried. Don't include passwords, API keys, database connection strings or payment-card details.
Copying does not open Agent or send a support request. Agent availability and usage depend on your account.
