How are VM deployment charges calculated?
A Reserved Virtual Machine (VM) uses a server that stays running for your app. Its compute cost depends on the machine tier and run time, not simply the number of visitors.

Autoscale is a different option for changing web traffic; it can reduce active servers when idle, but other publishing charges can still apply.
To understand your VM costs:
- Check the publishing type and machine tier for the app.
- Open Usage.
- Filter by the project and publishing resource to compare the relevant dates.
