A clear path forward

Can I use my own API keys with Agent?

You can use your own keys for your app's API (application programming interface) calls. They do not replace the model that powers Agent itself.

To add a key:

  1. Open the Secrets tool.
  2. Select + New secret.
  3. Enter the key's name, such as OPENAI_API_KEY, and its value.

Your app can then use the key for its calls. See Bring your own AI provider keys for the models your app uses.

Still stuck? Try troubleshooting with Agent.

Copy this prompt and paste it into Agent. For a project issue, open the project where it happens first. Add what happened and anything you've already tried. Don't include passwords, API keys, database connection strings or payment-card details.

Copying does not open Agent or send a support request. Agent availability and usage depend on your account.
