A Primitive example of a social media website.
@CodeSalvageONThere is an error in the repl you made with me. When I try to make a new post, it says that it can't handle the request. Can you please fix it?P.S. I added styling to lots of the pages.
Thanks for fixing the error @CodeSalvageON
Wow man! This is amazing! Is there a way I can a login and sign up page to this?
@medcho yeah! Just create a webserver, make a database, and check if that account data exists in the database using a script.
Can you help me do that? I tried but it didn't work out well @CodeSalvageON
Thanks man @CodeSalvageON
Are you working on the login and signup page with this? @CodeSalvageON
@medcho this is a bit of an old one but...https://repl.it/@CodeSalvageON/starshipdatabase#create_ship.php
Ok, I'll check it out @CodeSalvageON
Umm.. I can't see anything @CodeSalvageON
@medcho its in create_ship.php
Wdym? I'm not an expert at these stuff. Sorry @CodeSalvageON
@medcho click on the link i sent, then it should direct to create_ship.php . Inside the file is contents displaying creating an account.
Okay. I don't know much of php, so how will I add that do my website. Can you help me out? Can I invite you to my repl? @CodeSalvageON
I have added a reply box. When I press the reply button, is there a way the replies will be stores in the html file, like you did with the posts? @CodeSalvageON
Did you add it? @CodeSalvageON
Thanks man, it's epic. But there is one problem: is there a way to store the username, like we did with the post, and store the post? @CodeSalvageON
Can you do it for me? @CodeSalvageON
Can you make something so that it keeps the username the same like when you make a post? Can you do it the same with the post name? By the way, i credited you in the website @CodeSalvageON
@VulcanWM the username is already saved by localStorage, but I don't know if you would want to do that with post names.
Ok, how will I make sure the username is the same? Leave the post @CodeSalvageON
@VulcanWM you can use localStorage to get the username. The script is in script.js
OK. I'll see if I can do it @CodeSalvageON
Trying to hate on Plo** I see lol
For those who wonder, it's censored to keep the name a secret
It's gonna be great! We've been working on this for a long time and we're sure you will like it.
