Gobble Gobble Gobble!

🦃 🦃 🦃

Gobble Gobble, Gobble Gobble Gob-- Sorry, forgot that I'm on, not turkey-it! xD

Welcome to the ultimate Turkey Translator!! (Got the idea to make it because of Thanksgiving, but also because of Google Translate). Certified, Turkey (🦃), this Translator will enable you to talk with the mysterious animal called "Turkey". Known for its' bland taste, its' signature feathers, and the distinct tail, Turkeys are a very special and generally well loved animal. Especially on your plate.

A picture of a Turkey in it's greatest, most beautiful and attractive form:

(Spoiler Alert: it might actually make you cry!)

Havn't you always felt the urge to talk, to speak, to communicate with these lovely birds? Well, look no further, peeps, as you have the ability to do so right here! Not only will this make you be able to talk with turkeys, the Translator will display the Turkey-In (like Pin Yin in mandarin), so you can follow how exactly each word is pronounced. The Translator shall also give you the characters so that you may structure your sentences. You'll aso be able to comprehend and master the extensive grammar, vocabulary, and poetic way of speaking like a turkey, so you can chat with all your turkey friends (before putting 'em in the oven) xD!!

Some Important Points

Some key points with the special language of the turkeys;

  • How To Pronounce
  • How To Recognize

How To Pronounce

Prouncing is a very important skill in Turkey; mastering each sound will take you several long years of training. Let's learn how to pronounce "Gobble":

Gobble = Gob·ble = Go·b·ble = Go·b·b·le - G·o·b·b·l·e.

Practice saying it out loud to help you! "Gaaaauuu -- beeeuhh -- llleeuhhh". A bit faster: "Gaaauu -- beeuh -- leeuhh". Again: "Gau -- b -- le". Last time: "Gobble"! Wow, right? It's such a great feeling when you master the pronounciation of "Gobble".

How To Recognize

Recognizing the characters of Turkey also require several long years of training. This is how a character in Turkey looks like:

2 characters:

🦃 🦃

3 characters:

🦃 🦃 🦃

This seems very complicated, I know, but you'll eventually get the hang of it.

Some Examples:

An amazing thing with the Turkey language is it's simplicity. For example, to say "Hello World" in Turkey:

To say "My name is Bookie0":

To say the longest word in the English language (pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis), it is also very simple in Turkey:

Simply beautiful, isn't it?

Now a longer sentence:

The superb thing with this translator is that you can translate every language to Turkey!

Let's try saying "I peed in my pants" from swahili to Turkey:

Or from french to Turkey, if we say "Bonjour bonjour baguette baguette BAGUETTE" the only words you need to know in french xD:

We can even translate from the mysterious language of the LOLCATS!! Here is how to say "COMRADEZ, EPIK CHEZBURGERS IN SIGHT, ATTAK 4 DA MOTHERLAND":

This is a must-know phrase, and I totally recommend learning it by heart. No kidding.

The Sounds:

After each translation, you'll get a very nice sound of a turkey speaking, this way you can train your ear to recognize the meticoulous sounds of the amazing Turkey language.

Here are some great links to websites to train your ear to listen to sounds of the Turkey language:

Facts About Turkeys (the animal)

  • A turkey’s gender can be determined from its droppings–males produce spiral-shaped poop and females’ poop is shaped like the letter J.

Now solve this equation to get... a turkey's blessing:

🦃  ==>  💩  ==>  ♀  or  ♂ ?

♀  ==> 💩  ==>  🦃  ?

♂  <===>  ♀  <===>  💩  <<===>>  🦃  🦃 ?
  • Turkeys can run at speeds of up to 25 miles per hour and fly as fast as 55 miles per hour.

25 miles is about one-and-one-tenth (1.1) times as fast as Usain Bolt; Usain Bolt fastest speed is ~27.8 mph! Can you imagine it? Turkeys can be as fast as Usain Bolt lol! So if we murder and eat turkeys, why don't we do the same to Usain Bolt?!

  • Baby turkeys are called poults.

  • Turkeys are called so because because the bird came from the Turks.

  • In 2019, there were 229 000 000 turkeys in the United States!

  • There are about 46 million turkeys eaten each year.

A turkey joke:

[Disclaimer: Kinda intended as a joke post with (hopefully) funny facts and (hopefully) useful information you can tell your family during a hearty Thanksgiving Meal with a good 'ole turkey on a plate! xD]

Btw you can also check out the code, I left some comments for ya'll to navigate around if you want! :) But basically, I just put the what the user write in a list, split it using split(), then using len() got the amount of items in the list, and using a for loop substituted each word with the Turkey-In and it's appropriate character.

Well, looks like 'tis the end.

Hope you enjoyed and had a small laugh (or not) at this. Enjoy speaking with your turkey fwends, and...

Happy Thanksgiving Y'all!!!

And have an awesome day, and awesome break to those of you who are having some well deserved holidays (like me :)!

Cya around!!

HiteshPatil1 (1)

So basically this is a character counter in fun way.
Anyway it's worth a UPVOTe

DynamicSquid (4902)

Recognizing the characters of Turley also require several long years of training. This is how a character in Turkey looks like:

ReyesP (24)

Anything with a lot of letters is just Gobble. That's cool. I figured it out by doing the supercali, nevermind, you know the word from Mari Poppens. Then I typed out a million a's.

Bookie0 (6263)

@ReyesP haha Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

firefish (947)

Mari Poppens

@ReyesP *Mary Poppins
