Particles with reactions (sand, veg, water and lava)
h
axelduch

This is a prototype for what will later be a game.
Pyramids, lakes and grass!

Compile:

ctr or cmd + shift + o then type "osh" (open shell)
make
./main

Reactions:
water + sand -> veg
water + lava-> cancel out
veg + lava -> ...lava!
Water protects veg from getting turned to lava unless there's too much of it

super cool
i wonder what sort of math it would take to get some sort of fluid simulator
diff eq class was fun until the wave equation showed up

@mwilki7 Yes that's my next step! Trying to figure out how to make it look realistic, probably gonna calculate pressure for every liquid particle under the surface

awesome! this reminds me of a game I have on my phone. 🐀

axelduch

@RatsAreTheBest Thanks!! Nice what's the name of the game? I like playing those too :p

You could put it in a polygott repl, so that you won't have to open the shell to run it.

axelduch

@pyelias oh I didn't know about that! I can't find it in the languages list, how do I create a polyglott repl?

pyelias

@axelduch The link I sent was supposed to create one, but it didn't work for whatever reason. It should work now.

axelduch

@pyelias I just modified the Makefile, it should be working now. Thank you!
Given the size of the preview in here, it's still better to open the project to see the result
