No, it is not pure white. It is the tiniest bit red and green.

@AspectSheesh wait…but how?

CosmicBear

put it through a colour picker and see for your self. The red and green are not a full 255 in RGB and the hex is not the hex of pure white.

CosmicBear

On the website the RGB is 254,254,255 and hex is #fefeff. Pure white should be 255, 255, 255 and #ffffff.

@CosmicBear wow u actually found out!

AcaiBerii

@CosmicBear lies, look in the code and find it for yourself.

Color pickers aren't exactly the most accurate when it comes to things like color space i guess, or you might have an antialiased edge.

In the code, the css shows the class "white", which has the following style:

Pure white, as shown in https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css_colors.asp, is actually #ffffff.

CosmicBear

@AcaiBerii are you agreeing with me or disagreeing? I can't tell.

AcaiBerii

@CosmicBear im disagreeing.

put it through a colour picker and see for your self. The red and green are not a full 255 in RGB and the hex is not the hex of pure white.

#ffffff is rgb (255, 255, 255)

.white specifies the color as being white, which is css's #ffffff shorthand term.

On the website the RGB is 254,254,255 and hex is #fefeff. Pure white should be 255, 255, 255 and #ffffff.

^ white is (255, 255, 255)

so your color picker might be picking up on an antialiased edge... or its a color space thingy.

CosmicBear

@AcaiBerii so you're saying that I'm wrong because the colour picker is wrong but if the colour picker were correct then I would be correct.
