@TheForArkLD
No offense, but deflang looks like it very heavily overused .split() and even if it didn't an interpreted language written in an interpreted language becomes slower than the interpreted language you write it in.

@CSharpIsGud
Ok.

@CSharpIsGud
Probably I used in these :
• Split for one command and next command and....
• Split for command options
• Split for Array
• Split for Object

Profile icon
CSharpIsGud

@TheForArkLD
Yes that would count as overusing split

Profile icon
TheForArkLD

@CSharpIsGud
How to don’t use .split()? 🤔

@CSharpIsGud
ok,i understand this

var string='i am string' var splitstring=' ' var result=[] var curstr='' for(var i=0;i < string.length;i++){ if(string.substring(i,i) == splitstring){ result.push(curstr) curstr='' }else{ curstr+=string.substring(i,i) } }

@TheForArkLD
so you make your own split function instead of just using the one nodejs gives you by default?

Profile icon
TheForArkLD

@CSharpIsGud
probably.(i used translate,probably it’s not true)
