Ever wanted to resize an image offline.. but haven't downloaded an image editor? Because of this, I have written a simple Canvas-based image resizer that can be downloaded and run offline. You can try it out below - but downloading the image doesn't work in iframes, so you may want to open the page in a new tab. The app reports the original image dimensions and you can either use the traditional way of typing in your desired image size, or using a percentage. This application could work great in situations where you need to resize a photo for the Web whereas uploading a 2560x1400 image might be too much for Google Docs or mobile users using your website on cellular data.
