I made my own IDE (UPDATE (4))
Codemonkey51 (1057)

so pppl have tried making repl before but i was thinking about it to so here it is. just type a name into input hit create and then your in the editor, then type your html code into the box and hit save + run then it will redirect you to the output :) currently anyone can edit anyone but accounts may be in the future report any bugs in the comments.

P.S. the db will be wiped if it is abused and is not garenteed to stay

UPDATE 1: using ace editor now
UPDATE 2: added generate no name repl (puts three words together like repl does) and also on all /repl/<name> paths you can do /repl/<name>/__repl to get the editor also save + run uses new tab now
UPDATE 3: the client (editor) and server (Storage and display) are Starting to be separated (nothing will really change for users except new url path for editor) (FULLY RELEASED)
UPDATE 4: added more security to preview Iframe finished redirects

NEXT: preview window save button (no run)

This is cool! It works really well btw.

DaveHackett (1)

the editor is -.. asexual -.* :)

Cookiezz (65)

Very cool. Maybe you could make an option for the console to be on the bottom or the right.

Codemonkey51 (1057)

I'll see I'm still developing it @Cookiezz

Jakman (449)

@dragonslayor it is very easy to create files in any programmming language

lightningrock (151)

Also, the things people make are not uneditable by other people, they just have to change to /repl/ to /edit/ and they can edit it.

Codemonkey51 (1057)

@lightningrock also the editor is ace (look it up) so I can't add/ remove autocomplete

adl212 (172)

@Codemonkey51 What do you mean by the editor is ace?

Codemonkey51 (1057)

It's an editor (look up ace editor) @adl212

RayvelArjoon (88)

You should have just titled this "I made my own IDE". It's good but the interface is not pretty. I like how you did this in python. It's well made and has great autocompletes. All you would need to do now is just make it look more appealing.

Codemonkey51 (1057)

Ye (editor is ace look it up) I'll change title great suggestion and interface is next @RayvelArjoon

adl212 (172)

Why can't I create a new html repl? When I click create, nothing happens.

Codemonkey51 (1057)

does anything happen? like a 404 error @adl212

adl212 (172)

@Codemonkey51 no, it just stays on the home page.

adl212 (172)

@Codemonkey51 I think it happens because it only works in a new page.

Codemonkey51 (1057)

try openening in a new page @adl212

adl212 (172)

@Codemonkey51 Yeah, it works as a new page!

RohilPatel (1581)

Codemonkey51 (1057)

idc it took me like 1 hour to make

shh dont tell ppl this wasnt that hard to make

Theboys619 (65)

Not to tell people that it wasnt that hard and that it only took 1 hour @Codemonkey51

Codemonkey51 (1057)

Lol I mean it was a bit over an hour (replitdb was being annoying) @Theboys619 but that was just for the basic functions then I added ui (it originals was a bunch of paths for api not user friendly)

Theboys619 (65)

Lol. Well its pretty cool so nice job. @Codemonkey51

Codemonkey51 (1057)

I'm moderating the repls now someone made a fake warning: imma delete it (TOS time) @Theboys619

Theboys619 (65)

-_- you updated the link and now your are moderating the repls @Codemonkey51

Don't use jquery when you can clearly avoid it.
