How Well Do You Know Repl.it?
PYer (4017)

If you've been active on repl talk for a long period of time, you should be able to ace this quiz in under 300 seconds! If not, I would recommend keeping repl.it opened, and be prepared to do some research! Capitalization does not matter (of course) when answering questions, and any styling feedback is greatly appreciated. New tab can be found at Repl.it Quiz

PS: Sorry for forgetting to change it to a public repl. It works now!

@CodingCactus omg ur at 1000 already?!
It took you like two months lol

PYer (4017)

He has over 400 in the past seven days! @Warhawk947

CodingCactus (4337)

@Warhawk947 lol, 1 month (look at last 30 days contributers)

PYer (4017)

AHHH! I refreshed the leaderboard as I switched to Past 30 Days, and you literally made a cycle @CodingCactus

PYer (4017)

You have great coding ideas, @CodingCactus

PYer (4017)

Meanwhile, I'm here creating repl.it quizzes, @Warhawk947, and @CodingCactus comes with a Cactus Simulator and crushes all competition.

Warhawk947 (524)

@PYer meanwhile me in the past seven days

Warhawk947 (524)

@PYer @CodingCactus i remember when I was on the leaderboard, it felt like an enternity ago...

PYer (4017)

:) @Warhawk947 I'm at 161 for the month.

oignons (68)

@CodingCactus Cycle farming?? Just kidding, congrats :)

CodingCactus (4337)

@ipastrano lol, i honestly have no idea whatsoever on why I have so many :)

oignons (68)

@CodingCactus ik, just making a joke <3

CodingCactus (4337)

@ipastrano ik, just replying to message

ChezCoder (1607)

@PYer

301...

ChezCoder (1607)

@PYer Projects nice, brings back memories. One problem was that you can just find the answers in the script. This may be very problematic but I suggest requesting the answer from another repl. I suggest NodeJS because you can then get the URI of the request to make sure no one else is trying to send their own requests to the server.

PYer (4017)

If somebody is desperate enought to look at the source, they'll trace urls. Then I'll have to overcomplicate it to protect the answers. @ChezCoder

HackermonDev (2076)

Wow, I don't even know the first question

PYer (4017)

Actually there was! @ChezCoder

PYer (4017)

no, that's for index problems. The first question is the first screen. @ChezCoder

HackermonDev (2076)

@PYer Lmao, after doing some "hacking" i found out the answer was 'I Built This'

CodingCactus (4337)

@ChezCoder what are you supposed to write then?

PYer (4017)

Yeah, @PDanielY. That's the only problem...

ChezCoder (1607)

@CodingCactus nvm @PYer said that there actually was a forum

ChezCoder (1607)

@PYer XD the answer to "Which repl.it user only had 1 day to celebrate having the most cycles?"

PYer (4017)

I know. Then mat1 passed me... Right after I beat CyanCoding as well... @ChezCoder

[deleted]

what is the answer to fisrt???

FlaminHotValdez (716)

me in being semiactive on repltalk and not knowing half the problems :( AND I've had an account since 2018.

RayhanADev (2622)

Soooo...

I gotta say, quite proud of myself. I’ve been an active member of Repl Talk for what... A [email protected]? So um, no biggie xD.

DerrickLukimin (3)

[deleted]

[deleted]

@PYer thanks!

[deleted]

it is hard!

[deleted]

how to skip the first question?

PYer (4017)

I haven't made a skip button. The answer is I Built This @Zuhdi28

[deleted]

@PYer i knew it from @amasad repl.it post

oignons (68)

Very polished :) And I got 200 seconds I was a bit of a lurker on Repl talk before I got into it.

Codemonkey51 (1060)

IM IN IT YAY! Also my post was deleted :(

EDIT:

  • bruh:
    I'm correct tho, also I challenge everyone to beat this score:
PYer (4017)

Yeah, I saw it was deleted, but there still is your comment on the post. :) @Codemonkey51

Codemonkey51 (1060)

@ChezCoder

javascript:document.getElementById('seconds').innerHTML=1

Codemonkey51 (1060)

im not hacking just changing some values :) @ChezCoder

ChezCoder (1607)

@Codemonkey51 XD now everyone's going to use ur hax

Codemonkey51 (1060)

Lol you can take it imma delete that from my comment @ChezCoder tell me when you got it

xxpertHacker (931)

I looked at the cheats used, and I think it's literally impossible for it to not be hacked. It wouldn't be easy to stop them at least. I can make a bookmarklet to do it if the variable wasn't global anyways, just how to internet is.

theangryepicbanana (1703)

Half of that time was me not knowing how to spell hayaodeh lmao

theangryepicbanana (1703)

PPS: Accidentally upvoted my own post with an alt. Already notified moderators...

How does one do this accidentally?

PYer (4017)

I was logged into my alt, and then saw I hadn't upvoted my own post, so I upvoted it. When I realized what happend, @theangryepicbanana, I tried to undo it but it didn't allow me as I don't have a verified email.

PYer (4017)

There. I verified my email, and then deupvoted it. @theangryepicbanana

[deleted]

i don't even passed the first one ;-;

AmazingMech2418 (1103)

Easy...

Just a tip, don't store the answers in a global variable called "answers" and make all of the functions global...

AmazingMech2418 (1103)
setInterval(n=>{document.getElementById(`q${curr}inp`).value=answers[curr];submitanswer();},0);
PYer (4017)

I'm not that good at JS. I prefer python by far, but this would be very difficult. @AmazingMech2418

AmazingMech2418 (1103)

@PYer To make them non-global, just put them in an anonymous function that automatically runs and use addEventListener to allow the buttons to work.

CodingCactus (4337)

@Coder100 i din't speed run it, and got 90 seconds, lol

Coder100 (18939)

reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee @ChezCoder

ChezCoder (1607)

@Coder100 XDD imma try to hit the 30s

ChezCoder (1607)

@Coder100 hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.........

thing is im not even hacking XD

ChezCoder (1607)

@Coder100 here i dare you to beat this

AmazingMech2418 (1103)

@CodingCactus @Coder100 I posted the code I used... Let's just say it's not best practice to use a global variable called "answers"...

AmazingMech2418 (1103)

@CodingCactus @Coder100 This is the code:

setInterval(n=>{document.getElementById(`q${curr}inp`).value=answers[curr];submitanswer();},0);

However, it has a delay for animations, so it will mess up the timer if you use this...

AmazingMech2418 (1103)

@CodingCactus I didn't do inspect element. I actually completed the quiz...just with a bot...

CodingCactus (4337)

@AmazingMech2418 lol, you just cheated in a different way

AmazingMech2418 (1103)

@CodingCactus Exactly, although, I wouldn't call it cheating... I'd call it exploiting easily visible web vulnerabilities to make it easier and faster to win. Or, in other words, "using my resources"...

AmazingMech2418 (1103)

@Coder100 LOL! I actually completed it in 7 seconds though. I don't think you could take a screenshot that quickly since the timer just keeps going...

CodingCactus (4337)

@AmazingMech2418 i used my 'resouces' (inspect element)

AmazingMech2418 (1103)

@CodingCactus However, I completed it in the time it said, so I wasn't lying... I actually completed it in 1 second, but the timer keeps going and I had to take a screenshot...

PYer (4017)

HACKER @AmazingMech2418 PS: Never mind just read the debate.

AmazingMech2418 (1103)

@PYer Well, you made it easy to hack it...
