A text-based banking tycoon that I created for the game jam with well over 1000 lines of Python so its quite in depth. I recommend playing in full screen or at least extending the console window up a bit so for most screens you can see all the test without scrolling. I started a few days after the game jam was announced and I have spent a fair few hours on it between getting assignments finished and work. There is an in-game Help screen and I have tried to make the game so that it explains exactly what every option will do and give you a confirmation option before you make any purchases.
The code isn't amazing, this is the first time I have used Python but I may go through and refactor at some point now that I am a little more familiar with it. Please let me know if you come across any bugs, there shouldn't be any but there are a number of random events that only occur at certain points meaning there are definately some situations I have not tested. There is no win condition specifically but it is possible to get to a point where you cannot lose. If you start with the name cheat you will start with $1000000 I don't actually recommend this as it ruins the balance but it will let you test most aspects of the game from the start.
I don't have any plans currently to add any more full features to the game but if you have any suggestions please let me know and I will consider them. I have tried to balance the game so that there is a risk of losing (going below $) but the odds are in your favour. If you come across anything that is too strong either positive or negative please let me know with as much detail as possible and I will investigate it as some aspects might need a bit of balancing.
