This script allows you to get a anonymous name, great for a suspicious website or to troll your friends online. Also just cool in general!

Enjoy!

It's not an advertisement. It's a request for you to join my team because you're good at coding. @Code1Tech

Code1Tech (109)

Okay, what languages do I need to know?
I know HTML, CSS, JS and python.

why does it have fake loading screens?? Also you should make the names pronouncable, it's not that hard to implement, you separate the vowels from the other letters and then make some rules that will tell it where to put vowels vs the other letters. I don't think anyone wants a username like slkjfa. I once made on that slowly changes over time and adjusts the generated word to become more and more pronouncable. I think this could use a lot of work and I definitely think you should remove the fake loading stuff. For the input on how many words you should use a loop rather than making that many if statements. This could give you a lot more possibilities for how long the name can be. It will also make your code look nicer. Rather than putting together all the things in one line. Do this:
user = '';
for (x in range(int(choice1))){
user += random.choice(a); #notice you should only have one list
}

this will make it so it can repeat over millions of times and it will take less code, look nicer, and just overall be a better program. You should also put the whole thing on a loop, nobody wants to rerun the program every time, it gets tiring. That and the fake loading made me not want to run this program more than once. I hope you can think about using my suggestions.

no problem! if you ever need any help on the python language let me know, i studied it for around a year @Code1Tech

Code1Tech (109)

I have made the changes, that has made it a lot cleaner. Thanks!
@BobTheTomatoPie

BobTheTomatoPie (3360)

awesome, i will check it out @Code1Tech

BobTheTomatoPie (3360)

it seems like you misinterpreted what i meant about some of the code, for the 'for x in range' part you need to go user += random.choice(a) yes it works like numbers, it just adds onto the string, also there is an error. @Code1Tech

Code1Tech (109)

@BobTheTomatoPie

I have done it but it says user is not defined.

BobTheTomatoPie (3360)

you have to do this at the start of the code
user = "";
also for most of the loops you go user = random.choice(a)
@Code1Tech

BobTheTomatoPie (3360)

it is giving me one letter names because for most of the inputs you are putting this
user = random.choice(a)
@Code1Tech

Code1Tech (109)

i cant do it, its not working..
@BobTheTomatoPie

BobTheTomatoPie (3360)

aight man i wish i could help but its hard to explain the shit that you might be doing wrong. If you learn JS you will really understand what I am talking about cause python and JS to me go hand and hand. I hope you can figure it out sometime @Code1Tech

Code1Tech (109)

ok. thanks for trying to help! im far far far from doing js, i suck
@BobTheTomatoPie

BobTheTomatoPie (3360)

anytime mate. JS is ez i used to think of it like you do, but its bout as simple as python @Code1Tech

BobTheTomatoPie (3360)

i just use youtube and W3Schools. You can find a ton of videos that make it simple. Im not good at node and stuff like that, but I know that you can find a ton of JS videos that will start from the very basics and then over time you will just kind of figure it all out. I thought I would never ever learn how to do js but over time you just kind of figure it out, good luck man. @Code1Tech

Code1Tech (109)

is node harder than js? and thanks
@BobTheTomatoPie

BobTheTomatoPie (3360)

its harder to me, just cause i haven't spent much time to learn it. I bet if i actually sat down and watched an hour or two of node vids I would find it easier, but node is probably harder cause you need to know JS first. @Code1Tech

realTronsi (929)

@Code1Tech node and js are not comparable. They are different things. Think of js as the language, and node as a backend that simply uses js.
