Thank you to everyone who has helped Aardvark in any way, by developing, making modules, or even finding problems, we really appreciate it.
With version 0.8.0 coming out soon and competition results nearing, we have a lot to look forward to.
If you have a great idea for Aardvark, share it with us and we will make sure to look into it. We want to include some of YOUR ideas in this amazing language.
If you did not like Aardvark before, you may like version 0.8.0, it has so many new features:

  • A major speed increase, about 200% depending on the program.
  • Try and Except
  • A lot, lot of bug fixes
  • Many other new features and fixes

We will make sure to continue Aardvark whether we win or not, we will be making it better all the time. I hope you will help us in making Aardvark even better.
If you have an idea, contact us or comment below.
Also, I included the Beta version of version 0.8.0 in this post if you want to try it out.

Even though Aardvark did not win, we got a good remark from the judges:
Seems like a pretty standard language with its own slightly new syntax. Seems like an attempt to make a language with everything built in (it should be messaged that way). That's a cool idea, but it takes massive amounts of investment to make a language succeed on those grounds. I think it builds on Python so that helps though.

We will continue to work on Aardvark even though we did not win, we will work on making it an even better language.

uh do we have to run the program again, shouldn't there be a sort of loop so that it prints a better error message and lets us continue lol?
