how about this : a code that uses WORDS (simalar to LOLCODE) but only words lol Screenshot 2021-09-14 8.43.14 AM

Not too crazy, but what if you had opposite syntaxes? I'm gonna leave the replies to give some examples, but here's a short one: "hello" = world print("hello") // Output: world while i < 11: i-=1 //this would add i+1 until its greater than 11 EDIT: Found a slightly crazier idea....have to use morse code to type everything.

Find the +invite button. It will be in the upper-righthand corner. You can click on it and share your reply with someone. You can either invite by link or invite by username/email.
c4syner1 year ago
If you would like to share it with someone to work with you there is an +invite button which will give you a link to a multiplayer session. If you'd like to just generally share your code simply copy the url in your browser and share where needed.

This is a tab: " " This is a space: " " as you can see they are hard to tell apart. Hi! So basically, your teacher is using tabs, while you are using spaces. Here's how to fix: Hit Ctrl+F: image in the search, paste: Then, click the triangle: image image and inside the input, paste: Basically what that did was convert all tabs to spaces. Hopes this helps!

First off, I would use Python 3. And it would look something like this: import os noun1 = input("Noun: ") noun2 = input("Noun: ") action1 = input("Action: ") action2 = input("Action: ") #and so on os.system('clear') print("One day a coder named " + noun1 + " and his friend " + noun2 + " wanted to make a cool mad libs program. So " + noun1 + " did " + action1 + " while " + noun2 + " did " + action2 + ".") `

The break statement is allowed only inside for and while loops. With your indentation the code from line 17 on belongs to the function div(), but the while loop contains only one line. I believe print("Welcome") is the first line to be executed. Give it no indentation then. Ditto while True: Following lines need at least one level of indentation in order to belong to the while loop. Oh, and please use 4 spaces to indent, so it looks something like this: print("welcome!!") while True: use

def getRatio(pricea, priceb): """ Get ratio of pricea and priceb """ """ ------------- Update this function ------------- """ """ Also create some unit tests for this function in client_test.py """ if (price_b ==0): return return pricea/priceb There is a return statement outside a function. Is: if (price_b ==0): return return pricea/priceb supposed to be inside the getRatio function?

you can't set end='' in a print statement, you have to declare that before and then just put end in the print statement, like print(num, end)

The link at the top of your repl, as long as your repl is public, should be accessible by anyone. Copy that and send it to your teacher.
You can always copy the link to your repl.

On line 23 your indent is 1 space, but on line 25 it is 2 spaces. You need to keep the indentation the same or Python won't be able to read your code. Also you need to complete line 25.

Python dictionaries are the way to go. Also, if you are learning python, I recommend learning python 3, because python 2 is supposedly going to be eventually deprecated. https://www.tutorialspoint.com/python/python_dictionary.htm, or any tutorial on python dictionaries are a must-read for this type of project (not really, but you get my point)

Your only option is to share it as a link. Unless you copy the code and put it into a .py file on your computer. (That includes downloading python.) Also, I found an error in your code, change line 2 to Num = int(input("Hello there user, input a number inbetween 1 and 10. ")) `

Solution if you want the len, you have to print it, same with type. print len("something") print type(8) print type(True) like that. That should work
Coder391828 months ago
No, it is working, though you never told it to print, hence it is not being displayed. Try print len("supercalifragilisticexpealidocious")
