Hey

@benjaminapp
,
What's your experience in coding like? Also, what languages do you plan on building this app?

Hey man

@SixBeeps

I'm a beginner when it comes to programming - I come from a finance and investment background.

I've researched and understood rails is a good language for e-commerce/marketplaces - open to someone more experienced ideas and input.

I have a high fidelity graphic prototype designed, if that's a start to work with?

Mkay. In reality, you could work with any web language and be fine. I haven't worked much with Ruby, but I know Python and Node are popular choices. Either way, you're gonna want to know HTML, CSS, and JavaScript alongside a server language. Those three are crucial to making a web application.

What do you want to sell? Did you manage to finish it? And is the shop connected to Salesforce?
As far as I know, Salesforce’s commerce cloud is the best platform for online shops in the US because it offers a wide variety of tools and services that can make the purchasing process streamline, personalize being experience and create a mobile-friendly shopping experience. You can read more on https://magicfuse.co/blog/what-is-salesforce-commerce-cloud/. The last point is more important than one might think because more and more people use their mobile phones/tablets for doing anything on the Internet, including shopping. This process of merging from PCs to phones is inevitable, and it’s important to keep a finger on its pulse.

I have experience in Nodejs + Frontend HTML/JS/CSS. I can help with whatever. I'm pretty sure I have you on Discord, so make sure to let me know the run down of the project and it's timeline. Thanks!
