storing data in python

is there a preferably easy way of storing data (eg a maxdonalds highscore) using something like cookies or localstorage?

i figured out how to store data in js but i cant find a python solution

If you want, you can use MongoDB which is a free online database. That's how I store my stuff. If it isn't a multiplayer project, then store connection string in an .env file
