repl.it fails to connect
repl.it keeps on failing while trying to test any Python 3 code. It throws "Failed to connect. Reconnecting." error message alyways.
I try many browsers. Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Brave. They shown the same error message. but I found that Chromium browser. It is working. Please try.
im now having this error :/
@diamondkorben I have recently started having this issue as well... I dont know what to do to fix it but sometimes it starts working again
Hey there! I just tested it and am not getting this issue - any other details?
hello, I solved it by deleting my passwords, let me explain, enter the chrome settings (have a copy on your cell phone) and enter privacy and security from there you can delete the cookies and by the way the history and passwords I deleted everything reload the replit account and it worked for me
this in the case that you cannot create a new project either
@David-Santiag72
i tried all these, in fact i was knowing this before . but this problem i am not having in all repls , in only 1 repl i am having this problem so i reforked it and the reforked one is also having same problem so it means that something is against TOS of replit and that's why it is not opening @David-Santiag72
Try to use CTRL + R and clearing cookies
open your repl from My Repls tab
@lineofprogram didnot help man
@plawan926 is this happening before or only today
@lineofprogram i dunno but it seems to have fixed itself today. I was out of town since that day, and today it is working all charms
mines like that right now, idk how to fix it
replit is refusing to open youtube when i upload a video onto my html repl
For me it just randomly (while i'm working on something) says the 'failed to connect, retrying...' or something like that for a couple minutes. After that it just works fine, until it happens again.
same here
Keep trying, maybe your Wifi went down. Or try opening a new Python 3 replit. Tell me if it works.
nope me too (164gb connection) @Pythonier
@StringentDev 164 GB bandwith is 16 times higher than the average bandwith connection and would cost roughly 24,000 us dollars a week to maintain...
@6ex not 24,000 USD. And lets be honest, I'm in UK.
Plus that is so wrong to the point I looked at my
organisation's provider (Virgin) and you can literally
buy it for £37.00 a month or 48.23 USD
@StringentDev 164 GB Bandwidth is not 37 pounds.. It does not matter where you are.
@6ex Well I advise you go to Virgin's website and think again. Believe it or not - where you are matters a lot due to currency value.
That is literally a screenshot of the plan. No 4g. My org does not include or even use cellular data. Do not assume that because you are stuck with Comcast 10 blocks down with 2mb internet (bit of an exaggeration) that every where else is always the same. You did not do any research and only wanted to sound smart when you could have literally done a search for "virgin broadband" on google and looked through all of their plans - literally two words.
plus my currency does not equal your currency.
As of writing - GBP (Great British Pound) is worth 1.32 times the value of the United States Dollar for example.
i have the same issue. i can create a new replit
just cant open the ones i have
