how do i stop having my typing line inside other text

whenever i make print statements the line that appears when you type appears inside of the words and it messes me up please help me this is what it looks like

@ArchieMaclean i dont think its a problem with my code as its just two print statements this is what it looks like

@ShamrockKing I didn't say it was a problem with the code - it may be a problem with the actual repl though. Do you have a link?

This is because input is a function, which takes the prompt as an argument (so if you gave input the string "enter a number" it would print "enter a number" then wait for you to enter the number).

@ShamrockKing Ok, I just realised what your problem is (sorry). I have had this too - to fix, I usually just press left arrow until I hit the left side of the screen, then it fixes itself.

The previous comment applies still though :)
