I got back from summer camp and now c# repls have a ton of files and it takes up a ton of space (169 kb for a 40 line so far project) which is a lot for people without the hacker plan, please tell me why they changed this.

I got back from summer camp and now c# repls have a ton of files and it takes up a ton of space (169 kb for a 40 line so far project) which is a lot for people without the hacker plan, please tell me why they changed this.
They changed it for beta support for .NET. .NET is a highly requested feature by replit C# users to be able to make console apps, and the much better C# compiler.
@Coder100 can you do more stuff on c# with replit now?

In theory, yes. Mono has always been a shadow of its bigger brother .NET, as that's all it wanted to be.
